Meeting practice 

Last summer I dyed my hair pink.
it was pink and grey 

I think it is very expensive to dye the hair, maybe the hair salon charges a lot

The hair salon I often dye my hair once or twice a year. -> I usually dye my hair once or twice a year at a hair salon. Before CNY and before the summer holiday.

Like this time my hair has this color and after about 2 or 3 months it is the Chinese new year so I can change it. / and I will change it during the next holiday.

It takes me 4 or 5 hours / half a day. So I only sit on the chair and wait.

I don’t want spend more money on this thing. / on my hair.

I always go to the same hairdresser.

Now I found / I realized that hair salon is strange

If you ask at first time they will think you are a client of this hair dresser so another cannot service.
-> once you go to a hair salon they give you a specific hairdresser  / they attribute a hair dresser to you and you become his client and other hair dressers cannot take care of you / and you always have to go through him/her

I won’t start a conversation. In China when he feels you are so close he will ask you to buy a membership card. I won’t give him a chance to do that.

Work role-play:

I have to write the meeting minutes. Sometimes I will ask the salespeople about how a project is going / about the advancement of a project

 How is project A going? Is everything ok with project A?
Can you tell about the advancement /progress of project A?

Suddenly one speaks English and the others speak English too.
It is fast so I try my best to catch the key words.
