Writing exercise

Today, I went to hospital because I had to take care i him. He has lived there for a month for hypertension. He can’t talk any more and have a low fever. When he was sent in hospital by an ambulance, he was unconscious. Last time, that I visited him, he was still sleeping deeply and could not wake up. When I saw him like that, my heart was broken. If his life must be ended, let him be comfortable and quiet without any pain. If Chinese law allow that serious patients like my grandpa have right to choose a way ending life, it will reduce a number of patients’ pain. However, we haven’t the law because we are not able to be sure that mercy killing was used in right way.

If Chinese law allows seriously ill patients like my grandpa to have the right to choose a way of ending their life, it will reduce a number of patients’ pain. However, we don’t have the law because we are not able to be sure that mercy killing will be / is used in the right way.
