OpenF2F Class Notes 6th December (Celeste)

2nd Edit

ā€“Children need to know what it is like to be poorā€“ / Children need to know what it is like to have less

This means that childrenshould learn how to treasure money and how to use money. For example, my childrenĀ areĀ rich,/my childrenĀ are blessed/lucky/have a good life, they donā€™t worry about food and clothes. But/However, there are a lot of people who still do not have enough food to eat and not enough clothes to wearĀ in the world. I want to make my children learn/understand thatĀ there are a lot of people that are poorer than them and everyone should learn not toĀ waste from when they are young. When they become adults,I hope they can use money reasonably and donate or share with others.Ā .

Even if my children are rich or poor, they should never give up on themselves.Ā

This means that, young people from a wealthy/affluent family will think it is easy to do everything successfully, because they havenā€™t faced any big problems themselves.Ā These types of people havenā€™t had to do anything for themselves because somebody always did it for them. When these problems come/occur/happen,they donā€™t know how to solve it and give up quickly. When people are poor, they think everything they do is unsuccessful,Ā so they give upĀ their dreams easily from the start. However even if people are rich or poor, theyĀ must trust/believe inĀ themselves and fight for our dreams. Even I have problems in life and I need to keep fighting and make my children understand the importance of never giving up.

Upgraded vocabulary

PeopleĀ need to know what it is like to have less.

This means that people should learn how to live within their means.Ā For example,Ā my childrenĀ are blessed, theyĀ have a good life, they donā€™t worry about anything.Ā However, there are a lot of people who still do not have the basic necessities. I want to make my children learn thatĀ there are a lot of people that are poorer than them. Ā I think everyone needs to learn not toĀ waste starting from when they are in their childhood.Ā

For example, my son has a lot of toy cars. He always wants new toys. He only plays with them for 1-2 days then he wants a new one. This is very wasteful. I want to teach him to donate his toys to other children.Ā When my childrenĀ become adults,Ā I hope they can use money reasonably and donate or share with others.

Even if my children are rich or poor, they should never give up on themselves.Ā
