Social media has become an addiction, we can’t spend a day without them.

to keep up with the Joneses = to try to match your neighbours’ lifestyle

Many people use social media to show off and keep up with the Joneses.

relay = forward information 转发

Social media allows you to post and relay information to other people.

Many people only relay and comment so that they can play the role of a funny guy.

enable = to make something functional

disable = to stop something from working

The internet connection is disabled, we need to enable it again.
