We don’t like to socialize/hang out with friends frequently.

I hesitated whether I needed to attend it.

Building relationships with my new colleagues is a necessary thing right now/in this situation. 

One girl of from our team didn’t spend a lot of time socializing, she even responded that  she will not  attend the event.

I feel that she is not very close to my team in this one month that I have spent in the company.   = In the one month that I have been in this company, I have observed that she is not very close to other team members.

That is a fact that motivated me to attend the event.

Because of this event, I had to postpone my plans for the afternoon until the evening.

Building relationships with colleagues

One month ago, I went to started working a new company. For me, this is a new place so I have to build new relationships with my new team. Actually, my husband and I don’t like to socialize with friends frequently. Maybe it is just 5-6 times every year. We prefer to spend time (on) learning useful things.

But, I think it will be necessary/a necessary thing for me to build new relationships with our friends and colleagues. This afternoon, my leader boss invited a group of colleagues to her home, we planed to play team games and to chat with each other.
In fact, I don’t particularly want to attend it particularly, because I have my daily plan. On the another side/hand, I should do that because I will continue working in this company, so building good relationships will help for me. Wish all the best for this sunshine sunny afternoon/  afternoon filled with sunshine.
