What is a family? What is a marriage?
Every time when I saw an episode of NBC TV show <This is us>, I would ask myself questions like these. There is clearly no standard answer, people have different attitudes and situations. Even in the show, when two couple met their Seven Year Itch, one chose to give up fighting and let it go, the other chose to find the passion again, and they found love was still there.
There is no right or wrong, it’s only a matter of choice, good choice and bad choice, for this is life.
So I believe the show conveys that the most important thing in a family or a marriage is the every choice you make concerning the one you love.
The husband chose to support his wife’s music band tour, even though he needed to work12 hours a day, and to pick up all the slack at home as well as to attend his boys’ each and every one of their football games.
The mother chose to protect her adopted kid by not letting him meet his birth father and bear the painful secret for thirty years.
The brother chose to give up the play that could have changed his acting career and to comfort his anxious and breaking-down brother.
Some say that <This is us> brings back the long-lost beauty of love, I think it reminds me of the truly important things in life, and teaches me how to cherish the ones you love.

I had a quite busy day today, because I just came back from my vacation, so there were loads of work piled up for me. I also needed to come up with a work handover document which was required to write down every detail. I have done about eight pages, but it’s still not finished. Though I was kind of exhausted, when I thought of finally leaving this suffocating place, I felt so delighted and free. I haven’t found the next job yet, but I have figured out which direction I am going to head. It will only be more difficult than my current idle job, but definitely more challenging and fun.
