Vocabulary

Buddhist – fojiao – Believe in the Buddha and his teachings.

eg: “The most common religion in China is Buddhism.”

sculpt – to form shapes out of stone, clay or other materials

eg: “These statues were sculpted out of stone.”

brainwash -xi nao – to make someone believe something deeply

eg: “My mother brainwashed me to be a good student.”

Original –

I read a book written by Dan Brown recently and I really adored it. People love his novels, like” The Da Vinci Code”, “Inferno” and etc. these days.
But there are also some people evaluate him that he has little or no interest in history and virtually no knowledge or understanding of it.  He just set out to dig up as many supposed ” historical secrets” as he could and build a story. He just want to make people feel they are learning suppressed history while reading it.
From my perspective, I feel it’s a good way to make people starting get interest into the history and explore themselves later.
