Is that a fact? = Really?

1. to beat around the bush =/= 2. to cut to the chase

2. = to get to the point

to be a basket case = to be in a very bad or poor condition

E.g. To many of his friends, Will was just a basket case beyond any hope of recovery.

to put up with something = to tolerate, to accept

I can’t stand people who smoke. = I don’t like people who smoke.

She put up with his irresponsible behavior for a few months, but then she decided she couldn’t take it anymore.

Original:

Recently people around are talking about the hit Korean movie “Train To BuSan”. So I gathered couple of friends to watch this movie last Friday night. It’s a zombie movie but not a typical one, the director make his own logic of zombie’s world, like one bite could turn people into a zombie, zombies can run as fast as human, and they hunt by sight only under the light. So far, all of these above are not the point, because the movie is far than that, I think the director is trying to lead us to reflect on human nature and concern the future. So no wonder “Train To BuSan “is a hit movie, and I will recommend it as well.

Edit:

After hearing numerous / many people around me talking about the hit Korean movie “Train To BuSan”, I gathered a few of my friends to watch it last Friday night. It’s a zombie movie but not a typical one in that the director makes his own logic of the zombies’ world. For example, a single bite from a zombie can turn the victim into one, zombies can run as fast as humans, and they hunt by sight only under the light. However, the movie is far more than that. I think the director is trying to lead us to reflect on human nature and suggest that we think about the future. So no wonder “Train To BuSan is a hit movie, and I recommend it as well.
