Pitch

There is a common problem in the advertising industry. We call it “Pitch”, which means “choose the best from serval companies by their work and quotation”. Once a company get a “pitch” invitation, they make a team to prepare a proposal about marketing strategies, create ideas and quotations. They carry it to attend the “contest” and wait for the final result from clients.
If you can’t win, you get nothing.

It seems to be a fair play, but the problem is sometimes clients rip off your work to make another company to do cheaper and you are told your work is not good enough to win the game. Sometimes they have decided who is the winner before the contest, which is like a show and you are just a supporting role, but you still have to prepare the whole proposal.

Pitch

There is a common problem in the advertising industry. We call it a “Pitch”, which means “choose the best from several companies by their work and price quote“. Once a company gets a “pitch” meeting, they make a team to prepare a proposal about marketing strategies, creative ideas and quotations. They give the proposal to the client and wait for the final result.
If you don’t win, you get nothing.

It seems to be fair play, but the problem is sometimes clients rip off your work and have another company do it cheaper; and you are told your work is not good enough to win the game. Sometimes they have decided who is the winner before the contest even starts, it is like a show and you just have a supporting role, but you still have to prepare the whole proposal.
