Every year, in the pre-holiday period, I am very busy and hurry at work. Because after a sprint of works finish, I can wantonly enjoy vacation times without pressure and unfinished works anymore. However, in this year, I realised that I can not manage the work stress before the holidays. It felt like “so little time, so much not yet finished”. The anxiety, mood swings, tiredness, muscle tension and difficulty sleeping, from inside to the outside, the whole signals showed that the work-life balance is already out of control.

Every year, in pre-holiday periods, I am usually/always very busy and hurried at work. Because after a sprint of work/projects finishes, I can lavishly enjoy my vacations without pressure and unfinished work. However, in this year, I realised that I can not manage the work stress before the holidays. It felt like “so little time, so much not yet finished” – so little time, to much to do. The anxiety, mood swings, fatigue, muscle tension and difficulty sleeping, from your mind to your body/both mentally and physically, show that the work-life balance is already out of control.

So I think am I no longer young? Sadly, the answer is yes. My body age is 10 years older than the actual age. The work brings a great wealth of experience, while it brings fatness and health problem. Takeout Food and lack of movement are the main cause of work weight. I and my roommate launched a 90 days challenge to lose excess fat and keep it from coming back, aim for slow and steady weight loss 15kg in 3 months. Combine online to offline, from exercise to diet, to help us conquer the fat problems. We start the day in 7:30, 30 to 60 mins working out with rowing machine to burn calories. If the weather’s fine, we’ll go with nike running outside the door. Morning exercise is not only benefit for calories burning, but also improve focus and mental abilities all day long. In the middle of working day, I’ll use WeChat mini program FitFam to attend the 25 mins online yoga. In the evening, we’ll go the gym to do some resistance trainings to creates shape and increases muscle. The 90 days high protein diet is the most difficult part for me. Although more efficient and safer, they tasted bland and insipid, even yucky. But really looking forward to see the result after 90 days. Make us young again.

Although efficient for weight loss and better for your body, the meals taste bland and insipid, even yucky. But I am really looking forward to see the result after 90 days. This challenge will make us young again.
