Correcting a bad question:

Do you still work with that big company?

I still work with some people from that big company. The company hasn’t existed since they were acquired.

Do you still smoke cigarettes?

No, I don’t smoke.

Oh, when did you quit smoking?

I never smoked.

Are you still married?

I refuse to answer this question. That’s a little personal.

I‘ve never been married.

I haven’t been married (for 10 years, 10 years ago I was married.)

Are you still planning to buy a car?

I didn’t plan to buy a car.

I wasn’t planning to buy a car.

No, that wasn’t me. You must be thinking of someone else.
