A TV program or radio program

Describe a TV program or radio program that you have watched What it was
When you watched it
What the contents were

How you feel about it

I do not watch TV that often nowadays but when I was a student, I used to watch televisions a lot. There were lots of programs that l immersed myself in and watched regularly . In those days I watch mostly news and some selective TV programs. The TV program that made a strong impression on me was a documentary that I watched on Discovery Channel. I can hardly remember the name of that program, but l can tell you that it was a serial that had around 10 episodes, which focused on the balance between nature and human. For example, one of episodes told that in Brazil, increasing human activities made a terrible impact on local rainforests, which caused great damage to local natural balance. l was deeply impressed by the scene whenever the documentary compared places before human set foot in with those after that, which truly moved me to be sympathetic for the suffering of our earth.

A Time When You Stayed Away from Home

Describe a time when you stayed (far) away from your home. You should say:

where it was

how long you stayed there
what you did there (or, why you stayed there) and explain how you felt about it

l do not go hiking so often. However,as far as l can remember, l once went to America which was truly far from my home and the journey to America made a stong impression on me.
I remembered that l went there in winter and when l arrived at the airport in Los Angeles,it was about minus 15 degrees outside.Looking through the window,l could see a world which was fulfilled with snow.As a child who had lived in south China in last ten years, snow was scarce.l was really excited about it at that moment.Oh,l forgot to say that l went there with a journalist group in which it was all made up of all students like me ,for the purpose of experiencing American life.We stayed there for about a week. The most important thing l gain during the tour l guess is that l get to know about the American culture further, such as their education, their eating habits and so on.American character of hospitality and open mind also warmed me a lot.
