Vocabulary

avoid – stay away from

eg: Avoid that dog, he looks angry.

dark –  not as light

eg: It’s dark outside, because it’s 9pm.

eg: My skin got darker, because I was at the beach all week.

black people – people with dark skin with African ancestors.

asymmetrical – not equal on two sides

eg: Some design is better when it’s asymmetrical

symmetrical – equal on two sides

eg: Human faces are usually symmetrical.

horizon – the line where land and sky meet

eg: The horizon should not be symmetrical in the middle of the frame.

a tan – when your skin gets darker from the sun

eg: A little tan is actually healthy, but too much is very bad for your skin.

unique – very different or special, unlike others

eg: Maybe Uniqlo means Unique clothes? No, their quality is good, but the style is not so unique.

sweatpants – xiu xian ku, pants you wear to exercise, or relax, or just be comfortable.

Yoga pants – stretchy, tight exercise pants. Leggings

During the summer, I usually take four goods along with me anywhere, which are sunglass、fan、handkerchief and sun umbrella, They can protect your eyes and skin in the hot weather. In China, most of girls and women prefer light white skin than the dark black shin. They think light white skin make them look beautiful, and the dark black skin look uglily. So you can see many girls and women take a sun umbrella on the street but except men.

I love fans and handkerchiefs very much, and most of my friends were knew I love them too.
Someone gave me a fan every year, I use different pattern of fans each summer. They can take some cool wind for you anytime. The fan is foldable and easily put it in your bag.
I have more than 20 handkerchiefs, I love to collect different and especial pattern. The beautiful pattern looks like a painting, you can hang it on the wall in your apartment. Or tie to your hair、wrist and bags, it’s beautiful and a fashion style. But usually I use it to clean the sweat on my face.
