Vocabulary

Lack (v): 1- to not have or not have enough of something that is needed or wanted.
E.g.: He just lacks a little confidence.

Luck (n): 1- the force that causes things, especially good things, to happen to you by chance and not as a result of your own efforts or abilities.
E.g.: It was just luck that I asked for a job at the right time.

Polyglot (n): 1- a person who can speak or use several different languages.
E.g.: The fact that she was a polyglot helped her a lot in her career.

Grammar
