Vocabulary

Subordinate – Someone below in a hierarchy.

eg. When my boss pressures me, I in turn pressure my subordinates.

Obligated – To have to do something

eg. I am obligated to work on Saturdays until this project is finished.

Artifacts – An old historical object

eg. The artifacts in the museum were over 500 years old.

Stifling – When something is suffocating

eg. She gave him so much attention he felt it was stifling.

Whim – Someones mood or temper

eg. He catered to her every whim

Having time with friends — Spending time with friends

Background is World War II – It’s set during World War II

Sometimes at work I am having pressure – Sometimes at work I am under pressure.
