我一直在开会 Today, I was always in a meeting.

Before 12 is the morning 上午, after 12 is the afternoon 下午, and after 7 pm is the evening 晚上. After 10 pm is night 夜里.

People eat at noon (中午12), after noon is the afternoon.

Tomorrow, I will meet a friend at noon.
