Are there any taboos that Chinese people are not allowed to talk about now? I say no and yes. Chinese have been pitied by some western medias for a long time, because we “had no freedom to make our voices, no democracy and being numb under the system.” I appreciate their concern but we are doing great. I’m not denying those criticisms, the limited internet, these audit rules and other more limits. But the big historic country is trying its best. I think I don’t need to be extreme to prove I am free, now if there are any taboos in China, I think maybe just because of respecting and privacy.
