matting = creating a mat (厚垫子) or putting mats in on the floor
The matting of this room is made of straw.

cushion = 坐垫，软垫
If the mat is too hard, add some cushions.

situated = located, 在
Beijing is situated in China.

UNESCO = 教科文组织 United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization
The Terracotta Army 兵马俑 is protected by the UNESCO.

heritage = 遗产 history and traditions of a country
When my mom died, I got a small heritage.
The UNESCO says the Terracotta Army is a World Heritage Site.
