不可数：food, time, light, money

I like Chinese food. (no “a”)

可数: picture –> you cannot say “picture”. You must add something:

  • a picture
  • the picture, the pictures
  • pictures 复数
  • my/your/his/her/its/their/our picture

eg. on weekend –>

  • on a weekend
  • on the weekend, on the weekends
  • on weekends
  • on my weekend

Vocabulary

tell the difference 分别, 分清 (between)

I can’t tell the difference between foreigners.
