Some times made by vegetables – sometimes made with vegetables

pumpkin – nangua, large, orange, round vegetable

Ex: For Halloween, we take pumpkins and make jack-o-lanterns.

Ex: Eggplants are long and purple vegetables.

lettuce (let is) – leafy, green or purple/red vegetables in a salad

Ex: I like to eat lettuce.

Ex: Lettuce is good for our health.

Ex: Lettuce is a good, healthy food.

Shower

  • Shampoo

When we need to brush the teeth we use the water – When we need to brush our teeth we use bottled water

 

Toothpaste:  the paste or product that you put onto your toothbrush.

Ex:  I bought toothpaste and a toothbrush for my trip.

To clean the tooth – to clean your teeth

 

Comb (silent b):  to untangle your hair.

Ex:  My comb is made with wood.

 

Towel

  • Bath towel
  • Face towel
  • Hand towel

Ex:  Towels are very useful at the hotel.

Face Wash/ Facial soap:  product especially for cleaning your face and removing makeup.

Ex:  Face wash can help us to clean our faces.

 

Hair dryer/ blow dryer:  the electric device used to dry hair after the shower.

Ex:  When my hair is wet I always use a hair dryer to dry it.

Shower:  standing in water that falls from overhead.

Ex:  I like to shower because it will make you cleaner than a bath.

Bath: sitting or laying in water.

Ex:  We can take a bath to relax ourselves.

Sink

  • Bathroom sink
  • Kitchen sink
  • Outdoor sink
  • Laundry sink

Ex:  Sometimes there is a lot of problems with the sink, so my husband should fix it.

I do the laundry by myself – I hand wash the laundry

 

Toilet paper:  to clean yourself after you use the toilet.

Ex:  After using the toilet we should use toilet paper to clean ourselves.

Ex:  Toilet paper should be soft.

 

Slippers:  inside shoes

Ex:  At home we always put on our slippers.

Shower shoes/ shower sandals:  shoes that are used in the shower.

Ex:  Shower shoes are only used in the bathroom.

Sandals:  open toed shoes.

Ex:  I think wearing sandals is very comfortable.

In the morning I usually get up at 6:30 and ask my son to get up.  After he gets up I prepared his breakfast to him.  During having breakfast we listen to the news on the radio.  At 7:30 my husband takes him to the school bus station.  Then I do the laundry, when I finish doing the laundry I go back to bed to take a break for 2 hours.

Edit:
