Ex:  A lot of changes in a company will destabilise the employees engagement.

Ex: If you don’t start to exercise your body will be prone to illness.

Disrupt:  to cause disorder, to destroy or to break apart.

Ex:  You shouldn’t disrupt somebody’s conversation until they finish their topic.
