Dip:  place/ drop into water. (not liquid to liquid)

Eg.  I dipped a toe into the lake.

Eg.  I poured milk into my coffee

Spiked drink:  a drink that has something added to it – alcohol/drugs.

Eg.  They spiked the drink bowl at the party.

Attended:  to be present/ to be watched.

Unattended:  not to be present/ not being watched.

Eg.  Make sure your handbags are not unattended.

Predator:  someone/sth that is hunting sth else.

Eg.  A bear is a predator that hunts fish/ rabbits/ humans.

Eg.  You must protect your children from predators.

“peace of mind”:  clear mind/ not worried.

Eg.  Once Eve’s son goes to bed, she has peace of mind.

Eg.  Tomorrow is my last working day so finally I have peace of mind.

Pack:  a set of something.

Eg.  Pack of gum/ 6-pack of drinks

Introverts:  quieter people that like to stay by themselves, or don’t really engage in small talk.

Extroverts:  love being the center of attention, like to talk and do social things.
