“Get it in writing”:  whatever they promise you, ask for it in a written document.

Eg.  Yan Rui, can you tell Johnson that he’s fired?

  • Write your boss an email, saying “just to confirm, I’m going to fire Johnson right?”
  • Wait for reply….
  • Then fire Johnson or not.
