We competed a dragon boat race – we competed in a dragon boat race.

I will go home to visit my family during this dragon boat festival.  The dragon boat festival is on may 5^th  in every year of lunar calendar.  This festival is for remembering a poet who is Qu Yuen, he has been died for a long time.  We will make a lot of kinds of rice dumplings, like meat, dates, raisins, eggs.  We will also cook some duck eggs.  These two style foods are traditional food in this festival.  We will compete dragon boat races if we get a chance.

I think this incense bag is a health for our body prepare to other styles to prevent mosquitos. Because it’s made from traditional medicine and it has a good saying in China means long time ago we have a saying which is “if you bring a bag like this it can bring you lucky”.  It similar to a red line on your wrist, the older men or women like our grandparents believe this can bring lucky to us.  So during Chinese traditional festival every year our grandparents or our parents will buy something like this stuff to their kids to bring luck.  You can put them on your bags or your body, it can last one year to prevent mosqitos.  There are a lot of colors bags every color you can buy… you can buy every color bag that you like.

I think this incense bag is healthy for our body compared to other methods to prevent mosquito bites. Because it’s made of traditional medicine and it has a nice saying in China which is “if you bring a bag like this stuff it can bring luck to you”.  It is similar to wearing a red string bracelet around your wrist, the old men and women, like our grandparents also believe this can bring luck.  So during every Chinese traditional festival our grandparents or our parents will give something like this stuff to their kids.  You can put them on your bags or your body, it can last one year to prevent mosquito bites.  There are a lot of colors of bags, and you can buy any color that you like.
