Sink: the place where you wash your hands.
Ex: Kitchen sink
Mirror (mir –er)
In the shower:
- Shampoo: hair soap to clean the hair
- Conditioner: to untangles your hair.
- Body wash/ Shower Gel
- Loofah: the item you use to apply the body wash/shower gel
Ex: I like to buy hello kitty loofah’s.
- Face wash/ facial soap: the item used specifically for cleaning the face.
Pajamas: clothes to sleep in
Ex: I need to buy new pajamas to replace my old ones.
Bathrobe: the long sweater like jacket that you wear at home.
Ex: If we stay at a hotel, we must wear the bathrobe to the swimming pool.
Slippers: shoes for inside in the house
Ex: My friends will visit us, so I must prepare some slippers for them.
Facial: a treatment for your face to make your skin look nicer. (usually at the spa)
Ex: Let’s go to the spa for a facial.
Face mask: an item that you put onto your face for a short amount of time to make your skin nicer.
Ex: If you go abroad, please help me to get some more face masks.
Pores: the holes in your skin, that let out sweat and might get dirt in them.
Ex: My pores are very big, so I try to find a good way to make them smaller.
Gym: where you do exercise
Ex: There are different gym brands here that you can choose from. You can choose your favorite.
Tread water: when you move your legs and arms to stay upright in deep water.
Ex: This summer I want to learn how to tread water.
