For today’s topic, I would like to talk about the customer service at the restaurants.

Yesterday, I went to a hot pot restaurant of Sichuan with my friends. The restaurant has a reputation of typical Sichuan taste. Several friends recommended it for me so that we are expected to try.

After we ordered the foods, the hot pot was taken in front of us. The hot soup was boiling in side. Suddenly, a drop of soup splashed into my left eye, and I felt hot and pain immediately. The waitress passed by me and no action, even no word. Thanks to My friends, they helped me to treat the accident, I felt better later.

After a while, one of the waitress came to clean to tables and furniture just close to our table where we were eating. Dusts were flying around our hot pot! I was so angry and asked their director to come. I really wanted to tell her how important of customer service at the restaurants. For example, Haidilao, another hot pot restaurant chain gives their opponents a good model in the costumer service. Waiters and waitresses are really care about the costumer’s experience. The company runs very good and has restaurants in western world. I think it’s not because of the qualities of waiter of waitress, it is because of the importance of the customer service that the management thinks about.

The director apologized to us in the end, but my friends and I will never come to this restaurant again. You see, what’s why the customer service is so important!

After we ordered the food, the hot pot was put/placed in front of us. The hot soup was boiling inside. Suddenly, a drop of soup splashed into my left eye, and I felt hot and pain immediately. The waitress passed by me with no reaction, she didn’t even say a word. Thankfully my friends helped me treat my eye, I felt better afterwards.

After a while, one of the waitresses came to clean the tables and furniture just close to our table where we were eating. Dust was flying around our hot pot! I was so angry and asked their manager to come. I really wanted to tell her how important customer service is in restaurants.

For example, Haidilao, another hot pot restaurant chain, gives their competitors a good model in customer service. Waiters and waitresses really care about the customers’ experience. The company runs very well and has restaurants in western parts of the world. I don’t think it’s because of the quality of wait staff, it is because of the importance of customer service that the management cares about.

The manager apologized to us in the end, but my friends and I will never come to this restaurant again. You see, that’s why customer service is so important!
