Dragonboat racing – to play the game – to do the sport

Rowing – using a paddle to make a boat go forwards

Ex. We work hard in order to make the boat row fast – we rowed hard in order to make the boat go fast

Paddle – a piece of wood used to row

racket – something to hit a ball with in sports
Ex. I bought a new badminton racket
Ex. I broke my tennis racket

Bat – something to hit a ball with in sports
Ex. My table tennis bat is super
Ex. I hit the baseball really hard with my bat

Strike – to hit
Ex. When I serve the ball my opponent will strike it back at me

Shoot – to hit something in a specific direction
Ex. I will shoot the ball when I am closer to the goal
