Pick up
– I pick up the cup
– I pick up the children from school
– I want to pick up some books from the library

Present tense – I am picking up the cable
Past tense – he picked up the umbrella
Future tense – she will pick up a book
The infinitive – they want to pick up the light from the school

To lift
I lift up the box
– he lifts weights

Present – I am lifting the table now because it is very big and I want to move it away from here
Past – he lifted the television to take it to his home
Future – she will lift the chair and push it to the other side of the room
Infinitive – my mum wants to lift a bike but it is too heavy
– I used to lift weights
– she uses a spoon to mix the tea

To place – to put something in a specific place
Ex. I need to place my computer on my desk
Ex. I should place glass cup on the dish
These days I saw some marks about some manners act in the subway. These words let me remember that I don’t know a lot of words of normal act in the life. Then I want to study,because maybe I will use these words in sometimes. The words like how to speak when I want to catch the chair or something let me stand well in the bus. In this situation I don’t know that is right or not
Recently I saw some signs about how to behave in the subway. These signs reminded me that I don’t know a lot of words for normal acts in life. Then I want to study, because maybe I will use these words sometimes. The words for when I want to find a chair or something to hold on to help me stand well in the bus. In this situation I don’t know what is right or not to use.

Recently I saw some signs to people on the subway. Some of these signs reminded me of my English classes. Then I started to learn these words at any time that I saw them. Every time I found some chairs or something we can hold on.
