Vocabulary

Unconscious (adj) 1-  the opposite of conscious.
E.g. When you sleep, you’re unconscious.

Private (adj) 1-  something that’s only for you.
E.g. You can’t read my diary, that’s private!

Mustache (n) 1-  facial hair on your upper lip.
E.g. Some guys have mustaches. Frank has no opinion about mustaches.

Blond (adj): 1- yellow/golden hair.
E.g. A lot of German girls have blond hair.

Owl (n): 1- 猫头鹰.
E.g. There are a lot of owls in the Harry Potter books.

Pick out (v): 1- to choose from different options.
E.g. I have to pick out a dress to wear for the BBQ this weekend.

Peculiar (adj) 1-  strange and different; unusual.
E.g. I saw a man on the subway today. He was wearing a big purple hat. It was very peculiar.

Stare (v) 1- to look at someone for a long time with intensity.
E.g. I was at a concert and I was just staring at the singer for ten whole minutes.

Drill (n/v) 1- a tool you use to make holes in things. 2- to make a hole in something.
E.g. I use my drill to drill.
E.g. They’re drilling a hole in the street.
