Vocabulary
Recession –Â when the world economy is in crisis and drops very low. (e.g. The 2008 recession caused millions of people to lose their jobs, savings and government pensions.)
Filthy – When something is very dirty (e.g. My bathroom looks filthy because my Ayi is currently on holiday.)
Blurry – when something is unclear/ you can’t see clearly. (e.g. After my car accident my vision was blurry.)
Stabbing – a sharp and quick action or feeling (e.g. “I think I need to go to the hospital, I have a stabbing pain in my back.)
