Vocabulary

matter – you guan xi

eg: ”

all done – all finished

eg: “I’m all done with my other classes.”

location – a place, an address or another one of the same businesses.

eg: “Smart English has 2 locations.” “Initial has at least 2 locations in Shanghai.”

outfit – everything that you are wearing right now

eg: “I like your outfit.”

describe v.- to tell someone what something is like.

eg: “Can you describe the weather in Shanghai today?” “The weather is not good today, it’s a little rainy.”

description n. – the information about something

Grammar

Every sentence must have a Subject (Noun) and a Predicate (Verb.)

Noun – (things.) Cup. Phone. Table. Outfit.

Verb – (action word, means do something)

Adverb – (Fu ci, to describe a verb)

Adjective – (to describe a Noun)

(You) Give me the cup. (You is the subject) (Give is the verb)

Can you give me the cup? (You is the subject)  (Give is the verb)

Can you give me the big cup? (Big is the Adjective)

Can you quickly give me the big cup? (Quickly is the Adverb)

Can you give me the big cup quickly? (Adverb is at the end of the sentence, but is still describing the Predicate(main verb)
