Relentless (adj): 1- continuing in a severe or extreme way
E.g.:
 She has to go through relentless pressure at work.

Overhaul (n): 1- to repair or improve something so that every part of it works as it should. 
E.g.: 
The government recently did an overhaul of the healthcare system.

Subsidy (n): 1- a sum of money granted by the state or a public body to help an industry or business keep the price of a commodity or service low.
E.g.: 
The governments offers subsidies to farmers.

Akin (adj): 1- similar or having some of the same qualities.
E.g.: 
They speak a language akin to French.

Eligibility (n): 1- the fact of being allowed to do or receive something because you satisfy certain conditions.
E.g.: 
Obamacare change the eligibility requirements for health insurances.

Progressive (adj): 1- a person who likes ideas that are new and modern, encouraging change in society or in the way that things are done. 2- less traditional.
E.g.: 
He is fighting to pass a series of very progressive laws in the Congress.

Conservative (adj): 1- not usually liking or trusting change, especially sudden change.
E.g.: 
 Older people tend to be more conservative and a bit suspicious of anything new.

Think tank (n): 1-  or policy institute, research institute, etc. is an organization that performs research and advocacy concerning topics such as social policy, political strategy, economics, military, technology, and culture.
