Vocabulary

Religious (adj): 1- of or relating to religion. 2- believing in a god or a group of gods and following the rules of a religion (n: Religion)
E.g.: Christmas is a religious festival that celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ.

Nuclear Family (n): 1- a family consisting of two parents and their children, but not including aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc.
E.g.: I spent the holidays just with my nuclear family.

Extended Family (n): 1- a family unit that includes grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts, and uncles, etc. in addition to parents and children.
E.g.: I have a very large extended family.

Family-Oriented  (adj): 1- something that is made or suitable for both kids and adults.
E.g.: This is a fun, family-oriented show.

Manipulate (v): 1- to control something or someone to your advantage, often unfairly or dishonestly.
E.g.: Throughout her career she has very successfully manipulated the media.
