Vocabulary

Brand – the name of the company that makes something

e.g. In the classroom is a monitor of the Samsung brand.

Pinky – the smallest finger on your hand

e.g. Michelle has small hands and her pinky is the smallest finger on her small hands.

Ring finger – the fourth finger on your hand

e.g. Michelle is going to marry Jeff and Jeff will put the ring on Michelle’s ring finger.

Middle finger – the middle finger is the third finger on your hand

Index finger – the index finger is the second finger on your hand

e.g. We use our index finger to point at things.

Hashtag – this # symbol is called the hashtag

e.g. When Michelle plays tic tac toe, she plays it in a big hashtag.

Fingerprint – the print of your finger

e.g. When Tanya puts marker on her fingertip and then pushes her finger against the paper, we see her fingerprint.
