Vocabulary

(General/Local) Anaesthesia (ana-stee-shia) –  something that makes your body numb/no feeling (e.g. When I was younger I had a bad experience with anaesthetic.) 

X-ray – how you take photos of bones (e.g. I recently got x-rayed in the hospital because I had a bad cough

Morpheme – most common type of pain killer used in hospitals for major surgeries. (e.g.

Odontology (Odontologist) – the study (name of scientist) of teeth. (e.g. Yesterday, I had to take my daughter to the odontologist to get her teeth checked out.)

Role model – someone who influences others (e.g. It is important for celebrities to be good role models because many children look up to them and want to be like them.)
