F2F Class Notes 26th September (Raph)

Asset (n): 1- a valuable person or thing.
E.g.: His Chinese language skills were an asset for the company.

Q: Please, Introduce yourself.
A: My name is Chuyi, I am 25 years old and I got my bachelor in International Trade and Finance from XXX University two years ago. So far, I have had two work experiences: I worked as a policy assistant in Etna Insurance Company for 6 months. After that, I got a job as a administration assistant at Ferrari Great China, where I’ve been for over a year now. I’ve always been a person who likes challenges, but these two years of work experience have taught me a lot and made me also a very detail-oriented person.

Q: What are your main responsibilities at Ferrari and how do you think your skills will benefit Gucci?
A: At Ferrari, I have lots of different responsibilities, in lots of different areas of the company. I handle financial matters, such as purchase orders and payment vouchers. I’m also responsible for arranging company cars and hotel reservations for the staff and to manage the merchandising stock. The skills I acquired at Ferrari, Etna and also during my bachelor program in International Trade and Finance and a Merchandising and Supply Chain course I did at Shanghai XXX University  are related to the job description and I believe they would make me an asset for Gucci. I am able to work with different people, at different levels and with different kinds of tasks. I am also a very quick learner, so I believe I’d be able to adapt easily to the new environment.

Q: What are your weaknesses?
A: I am a shy person and might be a bit quiet in a new environment. I also always want to get things done at once and I tend to ask too many questions, which some managers might not like so much.
