a fussy eater = someone who is not easily pleased by food options
flattering = which reflects or implies positive traits of something or someone
to starve to death = to die due to lack of nourishment
shady = characterized by shade
E.g. The old man preferred a quiet, shady corner of the park. (literal meaning)
shady = suspicious, secret, potentially unlawful (figurative meaning)
E.g. A shady transaction seems to have taken place behind the gas station.
to fall over = to collapse, such as a tree or a structure
to spew = to eject, to spit
chaos n = lack of order, or organization,
chaotic adj = which lacks order or structure etc
to run for one’s life = to run away as quickly and as fast as possible
to run for the hills = to run away to escape impending danger
to set fire to something = to cause something to catch fire
to set something on fire / to light something on fire
to catch fire = to start burning
E.g. An unknown person set fire to the Dunkin Donuts near my house.
An unknown person set (the Dunkin Donuts near my house) on fire.
My car’s engine caught fire. My car’s engine burst into flames.
