action slowly – move slowly

pilot = the person who flies a plane or steers a ship

Ex “The pilot executed an emergency landing due to a bomb threat on the plane.”

can’t harmless – can’t harm / is harmless

Ex “The suspicious device discovered by authorities is harmless.”

When you come across a new word:

• Use the context to understand the word and how it is used
• Look up the word in a monolingual dictionary (English only dictionary)
• If you have a great deal of difficulty understanding the meaning, look it up in a bilingual dictionary (English-Chinese dictionary)
