Vocabulary

Dry (adj): 1- used to describe something that has no water or other liquid in, on, or around it.
E.g.: These plants grow well in a dry climate.

Humid (adj): 1- (of air and weather conditions) containing extremely small drops of water in the air.
E.g.: New York is very hot and humid in the summer.

Soil (n): 1- the material on the surface of the ground in which plants grow.
E.g.: You need to make sure the soil isn’t too wet, or the plant will die.

Radiator (n): 1- a device, usually a container filled with water, that sends out heat, often as part of a heating or cooling system.
E.g.: In northern China, a lot of people use radiators in the winter.

Environment (n): 1-  the air, water, and land in or on which people, animals, and plants live.
E.g.: We’re not doing enough to protect the environment from pollution.

Pasta (n): 1- a food made from flour, water, and sometimes egg, that is cooked and usually served with a sauce. It is made in various shapes that have different names. (Chinglish: Italian Noodles)
E.g.: Spaghetti, lasagne, ravioli, and cannelloni are all types of pasta.

Lasagna (n): 1-  a dish consisting of layers of thin, wide pasta combined with cheese, tomato sauce, and sometimes meat 2- 烤宽面条
E.g.: Lasagna is my favorite kind of pasta.

Stinky Tofu (n): 1- 臭豆腐
