Vocabulary

Context – the background and meaning behind a sentence (e.g. I want to learn more English I can use in a business context .)

Circumstance – the details, context, time, place and other factors that effect your situation. (e.g. Because my boss was ill and could not come to work the circumstances for the meeting changed.)

Situation – your position in regards to your environment (similar to circumstance) (e.g. When I got an email saying I need to go to my boss’s office IMMEDIATELY I knew I was in a bad situation.)

Part way – to make a compromise and meet in the middle (e.g. My colleague and I could not make a decision, so we had to meet each other part way.)
