Vocabulary

I just went to the gym, then came here.

personal trainer – a teacher at the gym, who helps you exercise

eg: “I have a personal trainer at the gym.”

fit – in good shape, healthy and not fat

eg: “I want to stay fit, so I go to the gym three times a week.”

appearance – how something looks or seems

eg: “People like to stay fit, because they care about their appearance and health.”

fall – to come or go down quickly from a high place or position

eg: “My friend is afraid to fall on a bike, so she won’t ride one.”

afraid to + V. afraid to touch cats

afraid of N. afraid of cats

fit – fiht I go to the gym to stay fit

fight – Fyt

fat – faat

exhibition – egg-Zi bish-un
