Vocabulary
I need to do some shopping today,because I couldn’t get to it last weekend.
status symbol – an item to show someone’s position in society
eg: “Watches are a common status symbol.”
commute – to travel regularly over some distance, as from a suburb into a city and back:
eg: “My commute takes about 30 minutes.”
Grammar
Present Participle: Using Ing as ADJ.
Bore V. – to make someone feel uninterested
Present Participle: Boring ADJ. – Something that makes you feel uninterested (used with a noun)
Bored ADJ. – how you feel because of something. (used with a verb, usually after
learning + N. – “computers are useful as a learning tool.” Alphago is a chess learning machine.”
