I read this article about the movie called BIG SICK online just now, which rated it as the best comedy movie in 2017 that everyone should watch. The reason why it’s highly rated is that it’s unlike a common comedy with some boring jokes or tacky quips. The authors who write this play are already famous with some comedy TV series of HBO they wrote before and happen to be a real couple in life. They are creative and used many factors that most of the authors would like to avoid from planting in a comedy, like religion, life threatening illness. So you can say that BIG SICK is a recording of someone’s real life more than a movie. The story is about a muslin boy and American girl falling in love, which sounds very romantic. The boys’ parents always invite different girls over their house to have dinner, but he doesn’t feeling anything about those girls. One day he meet this girl at his work place dramatically and have a fight at the first place, but they are eventually in a relationship. Unfortunately, with time marching on, the girl gets a serious disease and has to stay in the hospital. I haven’t finished this article so I have no idea what’s going on afterwards, I don’t worry about it will end with a bad ending though. Because tt least it’s a comedy.
