Recently, some reports about the child labor in china raised heated discussion in the society. The journalist shot a video in a garment factory in costal developed areas, which hired some child labors. In the video, these child labors had to work more ten hours every day, but they could only get low wages with one or two days off every month. This video announced that such illegal child labors in this area are public secret, which shocked the society.

On the one hand, everyone understands that any action regarding hiring child labors is illegal. Not to mention the high intense work and the extremely low wages. And some of the child labors were beat by the boss of the factory, if they cannot fulfill a task or they try to escape the factory.

On the other hand, the journalist also interviewed these child labors’ family. Most of them come from the remote areas of China and dropped out of middle school voluntarily. Their families are very poor and most of them have more than one child. The life pressure of them is extremely high. As a result, the child, who does not want to continue his study, would like to go out to find a job. Then at least, he could support himself and reduce the stress of his parents. Actually, every one of his family feel nothing wrong about this kind of decision.

As a result, the child who does not want to continue their studies, would likely go out to find a job. Then at least they could support themselves and reduce their parent’s stress.
