Some thoughts of the first two class in SE

Yesterday I had my first F2F class with teacher Eddie in Smart English. The conversation is causal but enlightening, and I really appreciate his sharing. It’s easy to notice that he is a person with plenty of knowledge and in-depth opinions, and there is a lot for me to learn from him.

I felt pretty good when I waked up this morning thinking about taking the second class to know a new teacher. And my mood is even getting better now after a cup of delicious latte. I have to say that coffee and speaking English are the two things that brighten my day. And I wonder why I haven’t made this small life change sooner?

Teacher Raph (it’s beautiful to pronounce his name) has a very different style in teaching, good at leading conversation and helping me correct my mistakes. One thing that occurs to me after class is that I should think first and speak slowly at the moment. Actually I can totally understand teacher’s meaning in most cases, but maybe I am too impatient to express myself which causes incorrect grammar and wrong choose of words. And it is also a bit difficult for me to give a full long and logical sentence. These two weak points are what I need to pay more attention to in next period of practicing.

In all, I really appreciate (I really like this word) these two classes and teachers’ efforts and I’m looking forward to meeting other teachers and continuing with / at SE.
