What do Zombies & Mobile Technology have in common?

Well, when you first think about it, not much. However, you’d be surprised at just how similar the reasons for why we are so amazed and interested in these two things actually are.

  1. Leaders of the pack

For 100s or even 1000s of years, men (and when I say men, I mean, male people) have been the ones to hunt for food, fight off bad guys, and all those other manly things to do. To do this well, they have had to think of the best ways, create the more advanced tools, and just generally use their brains together with their muscles, to get the job done. Being a leader is something a lot of men want, and so we see the similarities.

Zombies taking over the world: Men are the strong fighters, with powerful weapons that kill all zombies with ease.

Mobile Technology: No killing involved, unless you have a Samsung galaxy bomb, but the phones, laptops, and ipads give them so much power, right in their hands.

  1. Take everything you own with you on the road

This idea of phones and computers being “powerful” really just means you can do more things, in less time. Men are not generally the most patient creatures on earth, and this means speed, ease of use, and available options, are 3 of the most important things to us. Women have their handbags, but Men have pockets, wallets, and backpacks! Men don’t want you to see what we’re carrying, we just want to whip it out and get the job done. Leaving the house with everything you could ever need, within arms-reach, is just so cool.

Zombies taking over the world: everything you own is in your backpack. Zombie eating your mate? Shotgun at the ready. Stomach growling? Snack in the backpack. Feeling tired? Tent rolled up and ready to go.

Mobile Technology: Email, WeChat, Music, Games, Ordering food, Metro timetable, Pictures, Camera, Hotel booking, no shotgun though, sorry. Mobile stuff just has everything and they can fit in a bag, on your back.

  1. Love and support, and your buddies.

We may be big, tough men, but we have feeling too, you know! As we go through life being the sweaty, muscley, morons that so many women would have us believe, we need a bit of a hug, or a beer with a mate from time to time. And, as we move about the world after most people have been eaten by zombies, or not, that’s just exactly what we look for – a group to team-up with and share the struggle. Building a business is great, but who wants to do it alone? What’s the point in a phone, if you have no one to connect with?

Mobile Technology: Every person you ever need to contact, small chat groups, and connected to anyone that can help you survive in a tough world.
