The time that I missed my flight

It was my first internship.I worked at an advertisement company.And I needed to go to ChangChun on business by myself.
When I arrived at the airport, it was already passed the check in time.  that is already cannot check in. I thought think that I messed up my work,I worried,I cried,I regretted I didn’t leave enough time beforehand.
I hadn’t got enough money to buy another air ticket.I also didn’t want anyone to know this thing.But finally I called my aunt who is like my mother to lend me money for the air ticket of the next flight.And I promised I will return the money as soon as I get the salary.
Fortunately me being late my late didn’t affect the activity.Because I chose to arrive in ChangChun one day earlier.
