eg:    I look up to Nickole, she’s very hard working and friendly.

Cheng Yu – an idiom, that is made of four words.

eg: I think Chinese should teach more foreigners Cheng Yu, because they are interesting phrases and help us understand the culture.

meal – a big amount of food

eg: It’s healthy to eat three meals a day.

eg: I had breakfast, but I’m still hungry, I could eat another meal.

snack – a small amount of food

eg: Fruit and nuts are healthy snacks.

eg: Junk food is not a healthy snack.

pre-school – classes before primary school

eg: Pre-school is very common in Shanghai.

adorable – cute and lovely

eg: Kittens are adorable.

afford (V.) – can pay for , or have enough money to pay for

eg: I can’t afford that car. I need to pay for my son’s school.

affordable – many people can pay for it easily

eg: It’s not a luxury brand, just an affordable brand.

sign up – to pay or become a member of a service

eg: They signed up for pre-school last week.

eg: I don’t wanna sign up yet, I just wanna try it.
