I became this kind of teacher because I had friends living in china, and they already had this job.

No, I didn’t have any experience, except for some management positions. They ensured me I could do it, even though I thought I couldn’t.

During your teaching time, what were the most important things that helped you to get good at teaching?

The thing that helped me get better at teaching was watching student’s faces.

How did watching faces help you get good at teaching?

It helped me because I could see when people were totally lost, and when I got through to them.
