With the high technology fast growing, it is possible for people to work at/from home / remotely.
I believe there have both negative and positive effects on it.

Lack of face-to-face interaction and supervision could be the main drawback. The traditional way to communicate is to meet physically  so that people can discuss the official business directly. To understand what others say well, people usually express their views with body languages, such as facial expression, gestures and eye contacts. Once people do not talk face-to-face, these details will easily be lost and people will feel a lack of connection. Meanwhile, for those who have little self-control, they are likely to delay their tasks and finish them right at the deadline. / they are likely to procrastinate. As a result, it will decrease the productivity of the company (active) / the company will be less productive.

There are, however, many more advantages on it. It is time and money saving. People do not have to go to physical sites to work / people can work remotely so that they can allocate their own time more efficiently. For fresher, it takes several hours to reach the location company appointed for training. If trainings can be transferred online/ done online it helps them save much more time to learn the job content and process. Furthermore, companies would not pay the traveling expenses such as transportation and accommodation fees for International meetings. In addition, people would not stop working in some emergencies. For instance, many companies had to stop working during the coronavirus pandemic since people had to be isolated to avoid infecting each others/ spreading the virus.
Distance working, collaboration and video conference keep some people working.

In conclusion, Although distance working can provide many conveniences, we need to think about how to minimise its drawbacks.
